it does work great. it has a few modes too, dot by dot and stretched. the games look great.

Goodtimes! I wish my tv had svid... Oh well I still love my HD tv regardless especially considering what I paid for it

Just saw news that Vizio is coming out with an ultra-widescreen TV
It'll display movies with a 2.35:1 ratio without any black bars. I'm in the market for a second TV (currently have a 52" Samsung that is 3 years old). I was hoping to get a 70" but I might want to get an ultra wide screen instead.

it isn't a real convertor. Looks like it just hooks composite to the luma channel of svideo, so you're just going to get black and white in either direction.7. The video image can only be converted into black and white

how is the audio? i got my daughter a 22 in led and the sound is horrid. like there are headphone speakers in there. at least there is a audio out headphone port for a pc speaker system in the one i got to improve it. i guess you got the better deal, about 80 bucks and and a worthless tv.
