My guess is that the shoulder buttons might be programmed to input A+B, A+C, C+D, and B+D, which may be useful for certain control schemes, like Samurai Shodown II where fierce slash and fierce kick require you to press two buttons.

This isn't as good as a programmable 5th and 6th face button, but that could be an explanation for the shoulder buttons.

I'm not sure if it's a hoax or not. But the fact that all that is, is a single picture with a single word "hoax", makes the hoax link look a lot less reputable.

Sure, real Neo Geo carts aren't *quite* as small as an SD card and you'd need to hire an assistant or two just to lug around your games and help hold the thing up as you play, but it'd be worth it.
No it wouldn't and you are an idiot for thinking it would be better if it was the Nomad V2.

A portable Dreamcast or Saturn? Either way I'd buy one probably two.

Edit misread that post. I still want those though.

I will.

This is widescreen. The Neo Geo is not widescreen. Stretched images = no thanks.
Are we sure it's wide screen? The actual screen size says 4:3 so that could obviously work.

Yeah somebody mentioned that the specs say 4.3 inch screen. We all misread it as being 4:3, but it really says 4.3 inch screen.
Can somebody make like a saturn handheld hoax prototype to drool over? And make the screen really 4:3 and in the champagne gold color of the first Saturn prototype :D
