I was hoping this game would make it's way to the PC platform. It looks great and I've heard good things about the console versions. It's reportedly going to be DRM free as well, but it is an Ubisoft game, so I'll believe that when I see it.

I already have the Wii version, but I'd consider buying the PC version so I could play it in higher resolutions.
But only if it really has no DRM.

I've been avoiding new Ubi releases since they burned me on From Dust, but I'd honestly put up with UbiDRM just to play Origins in 1080p. All the better if it's DRM-free, obviously.

The 360 and PS3 versions are already in 1080p.sabrage wrote:I've been avoiding new Ubi releases since they burned me on From Dust, but I'd honestly put up with UbiDRM just to play Origins in 1080p. All the better if it's DRM-free, obviously.

Indeed. Native 1080p for 360 and PS3. Had a blast playing 4-player co-op over Christmas with my brothers. I can't imagine playing it any other way than local.isiolia wrote:The 360 and PS3 versions are already in 1080p.sabrage wrote:I've been avoiding new Ubi releases since they burned me on From Dust, but I'd honestly put up with UbiDRM just to play Origins in 1080p. Oh really? I pretty much assume every 360/PS3 release is only 720p, as the 1080p releases are so few and far between. Good to know, in that case I'll probably just pick up whichever one is cheapest.isiolia wrote:The 360 and PS3 versions are already in 1080p.sabrage wrote:I've been avoiding new Ubi releases since they burned me on From Dust, but I'd honestly put up with UbiDRM just to play Origins in 1080p. It was $19.99 shipped via Toyrsrus.com. It can still be had for said price (including tax) B&M, fwiw. Enjoy!sabrage wrote:Oh really? Yeah I saw that; I would've hopped on it if I didn't already have too many games to play. I have been on a platformer kick lately though, and quite enjoying it. It doesn't help that the closest ToysRUs is... About 12 miles away :/ I suspect that ToysRUs deal is a large part of why they decided to port it; I had heard it wasn't selling too well but now it's out of stock online. I think that releasing it as a $60 game really hurt its appeal.s1mplehumar wrote:It was $19.99 shipped via Toyrsrus.com. It can still be had for said price (including tax) B&M, fwiw. Enjoy!
I also want to wait and see if anything significant is added to the PC version, now.

I'm getting it for PC when it comes out. Can't wait!
Finally a platformer that'll put my USB Saturn controller to good use.
