It's ChopLifter... in HD!

Post by GSZX1337 »

The retro revival is now hitting the 1982 Home Computer Classic: ChopLifter with ChopLifter HD for XBLA, PSN, and Steam. It appears that inXile isn't making a straight remake of the original, but instead an evolution of the game. I'm sure that someone here can tell us that the ideas mentioned in the article have been done before in the two sequels that were made in the 90's.

Fun fact: Killing all the hostages will clear the game, same as rescuing every one.

Sounds like Centipede: Infestation and Burgertime: World Tour. Sounds very interesting. I'll keep an eye out for this one.

The game is all right, but the penultimate section is really hard. But once you get the Apache the game truly becomes fun. Not bad for an HD update. Oh and Duke Nukem has a cameo in it too.

Wow, I gotta get this! Now if only someone would remake Chopper Commando perfectly - Mark Currie Zone included I'd be in heaven.

For those into PC gaming or getting games cheap, Choplifter HD is only $2.49 on Steam.
