Did you make it through the storm okay, RB?
Did you make it through the storm okay, RB?
I know you live in Michigan, as do I, and just wanted to make sure you didn't get hit too hard by the recent storms.

Actually, I hardly noticed it.StevieC wrote:I know you live in Michigan, as do I, and just wanted to make sure you didn't get hit too hard by the recent storms.
Everyone at work was talking about it though
Thanks for asking!

No damage or injuries in my family
We did have a power outage for a few hours though. Otherwise we were okay. I saw the new Chronicles of Narnia film and came home to find the power out. But that movie is GOOD.

I actually saw that a couple weeks ago. It was pretty good. A little slow at the beginning, but enjoyableStevieC wrote:We did have a power outage for a few hours though. Otherwise we were okay. I saw the new Chronicles of Narnia film and came home to find the power out. But that movie is GOOD.

I don't know how it is where you guys live, but goddamn are the storms annoying here. Pretty much every night for the last week or two there's been thunderstorms and heavy rain. My yard is like quicksand. About a week ago, the internet, phone, and TV for me and half the city went out for a day, I think it was because of the weather.

You people are so unlucky. The last time we had a real storm where I live was last week. Its been mostly smooth sailing since last summer, but I'm not looking forward to the hurricane season.Zer wrote:I don't know how it is where you guys live, but goddamn are the storms annoying here. I am originally from KC (Lee's Summit to be exact), and I can vouch for the crazy weather. Although I have to admit, I do prefer thunderstorms over icestorms any day.Zer wrote:I don't know how it is where you guys live, but goddamn are the storms annoying here.
