The XRGB mini's coming out soon! Don't get anything before then.

Has the Flame Meister actually gotten a date!? I've been waiting for what seems like forever and gave up on it months ago.

Sweeeeettttt! Can't wait to see if it comes out soon, otherwise the wait might not be worth it given how the older ones have started to come down in price.

@ elslasho: Crutchfield.com is a great place to look. I don't believe they have the best prices around, but it's the best place to window shop. They have multiple high res pics for all of their stuff, including shots of all the inputs/outputs on receivers, so you can find something you want easier. I haven't search recently, last time I was looking at receivers was 3-5 years ago so I don't know what's out there as far as S-Vid goes, but maybe if you find something on Crutchfield you can search for the model used on eBay to get it on the cheap. Crutchfield is great to order from, I have in the past, but they don't always have the lowest prices.

I had a chance to get a nice AVR from an electronics store that just went out of business, but there were a couple problems seeing as how it was a demo unit and that the price was not affordable at the time.

I do have a 5.1 Sony Audio receiver, but Im willing to sell that and settle for an AVR if it means not having to constantly plug and unplug my consoles from the back of the TV :)

If you already have an S-Video Jack on your TV and a Reciever you're happy with something you can always try is an AV switchbox.

They can run as low as $10 new and most support Composite, S-Video and Component these days. Then just route the audio output from your TV to the Receiver either via RCA Jacks, Coax or Optical depending on what audio outputs your TV has.

I will have to check it out, ended up selling my Surround sound months ago and have a nice empty space that my Xbox has been occupying since.
