Nintendo DS M3 Adapter Demonstation

An M3 Adapter Mini SD version and a Passcard cost me 120 shipped from Canada, a 1 GB mini SD was $30 shipped from newegg

Ahh I figured it would cost more than the original GBA adapter running around $30-70.

I'm kinda confused... what does the M3 Adapter do? And what does the Passcard do?

Passcard will let the ds boot the m3 adapter, the m3 adapter runs the GBA and DS software

Well, not sure about the extras.

But, the older version which came out for GBA also works in the NDS slot.

Well, the Passcard is gonna run around $30-$40.
And then the memory card will be a small chunk of change...

The Mini SD is the cheapest of the lot, try newegg, they have kingston brand that come with lifetime warranty

Is there a disadvantage to the GBA one?
It would be cool if I could use it on both the GBA and the DS
