Hmmm....I've had my eye on this game for a while, but I've hesitated because....well.....games suck nowadays I think. Maybe I'll give it a go......

Game is seriously cheap right now and worth every penny. The actual fishing in the game is pretty darned easy (it's a far cry from the shitpile that is Twilight Princess), it's just the one part in the game where you need to catch a certain kind of fish that throws people. Really, if ever find yourself unsure of what to do next in the game, the answer is usually "look at the mini-map and go to the red x."

Usually with divisive games like this (and Alpha Protocol, Brink, Heavy Rain, STALKER...) my policy is just "try it out and see;" the fishing game was literally the only thing holding me back and I'm glad to hear it's not as bad as I originally thought.

Though I'd rather not have to deal with it at all, for the record.

This reminds me I haven't finished this game yet; haven't played it in over a year now. I'm most of the way through, and for me this game was a lot like playing Kingdom Hearts or a Zelda game. It copies ideas from both of those. I actually think this is a really good game, way better than you'd think from how the graphics and character designs look.

Just picked it up for $19. After seeing how many tracks made the Hardcoregaming101 best music list I couldn't pass it up. Can't say I'm gonna play it any time soon but I'm glad to know people at Racketboy like it.

Also saw Ascension of the Metatron for $20... Probably should have grabbed that one too. Maybe I'll go back.

Just beat it today. This game was great. So depressing at points, but a very high quality story and characters.
