Wait. What? Inazuma got banned?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Inazuma is gone? Awesome!

The bad times certainly outweigh the good as far as I'm concerned.

I will miss him. We agreed on marriage and in that thread I pointed out to him that he was going overboard a bit and he slowed down a bit after that.

Speaking of old users, what about LordofDuct (or whatever)? He seems to roll in for a month every couple years and I feel like he's due.

It's weird, the forum I frequent second most to this one has something very similar going on. User is a huge douchebag all the time, mods eventually get fed up with it after a few years, uproar because said douchebag was finally put in his place and removed from the community he was contributing absolutely nothing to but trite bickering. A thread was created there on the issue too, about how some users feel the mods are "abusing free speech" (which you give up once you sign up for a forum with rules anyway).

I don't see anything wrong with the ban at all. For every 1 post he made that was logical and/or not trying to intentionally instigate an debate where he can push his views upon others, there were 20 others that were blatantly insulting, condescending, needless argumentative, and upsetting to a lot of the posters here. It's not like he simply said things people didn't agree with and got banned, that argument is ridiculous. He purposely barged into threads posting things he knew would cause a ruckus and derail them, over and over.

I'm fairly certain the martial status thread was what started driving the final nail in the coffin. It's also interesting to see that his very last post was about anal sex, and one of his last posts was asking me about Super Robot Taisen.

Cannot tell if you're actually implying this, but I really don't think anyone is causing an uproar here or making "free speech" arguments.

Sounds like you had a good rapport with him.

He didn't get banned, the government shut him down and seized his assets. Dur.

Seriously though, I'll miss seeing some of his posts. Emphasis on the "some".

I was referring to the other forum I was talking about.

I did. Don't get me wrong I am not calling for him to be unbanned. Mods are here for a reason and whether I disagree with them or not doesn't matter.

EDIT: It says this was uploaded in 2011, but I first saw it in 2009. Weird.

It was originally on Google Video, but when that shut down I moved it over to Youtube.
