Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Some Great Saturn Items from Japan!

Post by ImportBoy »

Got a box in from Fedex this morning, first part of order I put in from Japan.

Funny thing is.....I did not order the Saturn system, memory card, or controllers (not pictured). It was in the box with that monsterous arcade stick. A nice bonus at any rate, I don't own a model 1 Saturn and needed new controllers. Take a look at the memory card closely - pictures don't do it justice - but it is easy to tell once it was put in it was not taken out for a long time!

I'll be making some rips of the E-Book and Photo CD applications later if anyone is interested. I already posted Doom in the downloads section.

Thats great! I saw your post when you were debating buying it. The arcade sticks look nice. How much did you end up paying may I ask?

lol - to much. The arcade stick was 12,180 Yen (about $120). Shipping it was another $100. The other items there were very cheap, $5-10 each, and probably didn't add much to the shipping bill.

The arcade stick still had an original price sticker on it to - 20000 Yen ($200 or so). The link cable did as well - 2000 yen ($20).

Love the arcade stick and very jealous -- puts the Agetec Dreamcast stick to shame :)

Mr. Importboy,
Could you please tell me the deminsions of that arcade stick, the hs-103 correct? I have been contimplating buying one for some time but have never found hard information on the device itself. My current living arrangement does not allow me to have an arcade console but a controller would atleast carve the urge. However I would still have to find a place to store it.

Thank you.

Roughly 29 by 9 inches. About 5 inches from the bottom of the unit to the highest point on the two joysticks. It is numbered HS-0130.

Nice.. I wanted one of those but they are kinda hard to come by. I feel your pain with the $100 shipping. My Neo-Geo was a bitch to get here to the states.

Still not a bad investment especially if you use it for emulation too! You'll never need another controller. There isn't much better than an quality arcade stick, and since it has 8 buttons you be able to use it for everything.

That is what I figured as well, now I just need to find two Saturn to USB/whatever adapters.

Once I find a good spot for it :)
