I am new to the whole modding scene. Plus- I'm a little pro mac being that i work with one for art stuff. Hence, i never got into the whole modding the xbox to run 480i games. Its a real shame, and i'm trying to make up for it now.
I picked up an action replay/mem card/splinter cell cheap on ebay. They are on their way (godspeed). So i'm looking forward to working through that, but i realized that i probably couldn't fit all the old games that i want on the xbox's 8GB HDD.
I tried looking around for info, but it was all pc exclusive. Is that going to be an issue? Has anyone done it on osx?
The guide i found online was one that needed you to burn an iso in nero or alcohol. I have never ever successfully burnt an iso on my mac. I've tried to make dreamcast backups, but it was ALWAYS a disaster. Has anyone used toast 8 to do it?
Or am i stuck with limited space....
this is the tutorial i found for the HDD. If it is more difficult than it has to be let me know.

xbox hdd swap on a mac computer
You'll need a Windows machine to perform the softmod in the first place, as there is no Mac solution for managing Action Replay saves. I also live in a Mac-only household and was frustrated with this same problem recently. My advice: ask a friend if you can spend the afternoon at his place using his PC, and perform the softmod and HDD upgrade all at once.
"Oh, no, not in Utica, no. It's an Albany expression."

I don't have an intel mac, i have the power pc right before they switched over so i can't run paraallels.
I thought i heard about some virtual windows program for power pc, but parallels is so much better with the intel macs that it kinda took over. Every time i search for it, all i come up with is parallels. Forgot what it was called.
**Edit- its virtual pc.
