the newest Retronauts podcast which is all about Sega franchises that have vanished. (PS, Bob Mackey is doing such a great job with this show now. I really wasn't a big fan of the Retronauts Live call-in shows that Jeremy had been doing. I feel like Bob's take on the show is Retro-Retronauts.)

yup yup. But I'm just really happy about what Bob Mackey has done with the show. I feel like he has this real excitement that shows. He's been doing a lot of really long episodes, and including reader mail, and even posting reader art on the blog. It's all very 90's video game mag feeling to me. Very cool.

I've been listening to them for years and although sometimes they take a step back every now and then, the podcast is always solid. I enjoy their regular updates, but I extremely love when they discuss a single franchise or game and talk to developers or those involved in the game making process. It's not just talk, it's a lot of information. Wish I could find more podcasts like it.

Definitely a great album! For a psych band, they can get pretty aggressive and doomy and times. The noise freakouts are my favorite parts.
