are there any problems if I want to play a french SECAM game on a PAL console?
Or is there any difference between normal PAL games and french ones?

The region coding for France and the UK are the same - so you won't run into any region locks.
I don't know much about SECAM vs PAL video format compadibility though. Perhaps someone from Europe could shed some light on this.
