So I got to Toysrus at 1010 today, they opened at 10, they had 100 something individual figures coming in today and there was a short line infront of me. By the time I got up to the front, there were two left: Chop Chop and Whirlwind. The lady behind me in line and I had been chatting and she new her kid really wanted Chop Chop and a second one so I just let her buy both. They apparently got three of the legendary packs this morning, sold them instantly.

So I am still only six Skylanders, two of which are Spyro.

^I thought whirlwind was a target exclusive?

I went to Target this morning, picked up:
Prism Break
Flameslinger
Drobot
Voodood
Chop Chop

Everthing else was gone - but I was happy to get (5) that we didn't have.

Whirlwind and Drill Sergeant are no longer store exclusive - ToysRus had both in the initial shipment.

Sadly the Walmart near my Church had nothing, but I convinced the guy working to buy the starter set. Ive got a couple out of town things coming up so I will be hitting all big box stores on the way. I know that eventually we will be able to get all the figures easily, except the special edition ones. They are just a bear to find (as you all know).

Anybody price the guide on this thing? I am seeing them at 80 bucks. Guess the wife will have to get by without LOL. For the record she loves buying the guides with her games LOL.

Is this a joke? The guide is essentially useless unless you really, really want to know what the different upgrades are before getting to them yourself.

If this is true, I am immediately selling mine. I bought it just to get free shipping from Amazon and it is mint.

*edit* Way to get my hopes up. It's selling on ebay for $35 new. That's only about twice what I paid.

*edit* It's even worse than I thought. Completed auctions for this only go for $20-22 with free shipping.
Selling half my NES/SNES/PS1 collection (ending Dec 1):

Go look at amazon man. I didnt check Ebay, I try to stay away from it anymore. They have the Amazon one but it is a month out. All the listed ones were very high. Sorry for dashing your hopes though.

My girlfriend just texted me an image of all three of the Adventure packs that she just picked up for $40. Now to find the rest of the figures...

3 for $40 total, or $40 each? If $40 total...where????!! Or was it a private deal or something?

3 for $40 at a Target in Spring Hill TN. They had a discount if you bought all three of them and she got the last set. This is contrary to the Targets in Atlanta that have no such discount and have no figures in stock.
