How does one know which Xbox games will run on a 360? I have both systems and have never tried a regular Xbox game with the 360.

Compatability Lists are found on the net.

It works OK, but generally, I think it would be better to play them on OXbox. Most have glitches or other compatability issues, along with crashes. From what I understand, Panzer Dragoon Orta, for example, has visual glitches in cutscenes, and Fable save files can get completely deleted if saved at the wrong point.BoneSnapDeez wrote:How does one know which Xbox games will run on a 360? Just play xbox games on the xbox and 360 on 360,I find every BC game to have some sort of performance issue or graphical glitch when using a 360.BoneSnapDeez wrote:How does one know which Xbox games will run on a 360? I have both systems and have never tried a regular Xbox game with the 360.
For me Ive played Kotor and Leisure Suit Larry,I played LSL to the end then started to get graphical glitches and it looked like shit I was disappointed.

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Phantom Dust! I completely forgot that game's title but I remember reading reviews (in a magazine! How quaint) when it was released. Is there any way to get a modded Xbox online, or is that just completely dead?
In my limited experience with backwards compatibility (and this was several years ago, but I doubt it's changed) KOTOR, Jade Empire and Fable ran pretty terribly, but I don't remember having any problems with Ninja Gaiden Black. I think the biggest issue was with loading times, which were at times excruciatingly long.

Official online is dead. LAN play through a network lasts as long as players continue using it. I know there are services of the sort.
Even without a way to sign into XBL, which should include create/recover gamertag, DLC downloads, leaderboards... You do need an inactive gamertag attached to the Xbox for some things. AFAIK Phantasy Star Online single player requires it. But I never got to use original XBL on an Xbox console itself (only through BC) and so have no experience there.
I'm not sure how good Metal Wolf Chaos is. Haven't done much research. Difficult to get the legal necessary setup. It's a now $100+ game supposedly Xbox exclusive, NON backwards compatible, PLUS region locked to Japan.

Very cool that you mentioned Yager! That game didn't sell worth a poop, but is surprisingly fun and still looks great. Fans of Wing Commander or G-Police should definitely check it out!Weekend_Warrior wrote:Yager

Just a correction: XGRA isn't an XBOX exclusive.
