I know this shouldn't piss me off, but damnit, the internet is important, lol. Anyways, some weeaboo, that happens to be in Europe so he has no clue about the U.S., is trying to claim that the U.S. video game crash never happened because Japanese companies were doing well. And he's like this Japanese gaming freak, so everyone sides with him because of his complete knowledge of Japan. Yet the U.S. video game crash is common knowledge to any classic gamers. It's frustrating.

The Great Depression never happened in the USA because the economy was fine in Japan?

Man that sucks. I would have been pretty suspicious as soon as the buyer said you "ruined his kid's Christmas." Who the hell buys their kid a Virtual Boy for Christmas in 2011 (or any year for that matter)?!

It was a Game Gear. I already own one, but the sound is beginning to fail.

Weird thing is, I wasn't meeting the guy in some obscure place. He asked me to meet him at his business, which is attached to his apartment. Knocked on all doors, hung around for awhile... nothing. Hopped back in the car and went home.

Strange, have you tried to get back in touch with him?

My turn:
:D I've decided, fuck it, I'm just not going to attach anything to my paypal account, hope I can sell some crap and use my balance to buy stuff from folks on Racketboy (since I won't be able to use it for ebay anyway).

In other news, I'm thinking about selling what's left of my Super Nintendo collection. Hopefully this won't be considered obnoxious advertising, but if anyone thinks they might be interested, they should PM me. :)

That sounds like the capacitors are starting to fail. Fairly easy fix if you have a good technological know how.
