Good god, you almost convinced me to support SOPA. The internet was so much better in the early-mid 90s. You could actually have an unmoderated discussion on USENET without sorting through miles of spam. Web pages were neat, and to the point, and usually written by academics. That was a wonderful time.

Fine fine, imagine the internet in 1997, after the AOL and WebTV boom and with the insurgence of GeoCities sites.
