If I buy a DVD, and it has a menu option to view trailers, there is a good chance I will decide to watch some or all of them. If a DVD plays trailers right away before going to the main menu, it pisses me off. That's the difference. I think advertising should always be a choice.
did you know it was an ad before you watched it, or were you tricked into watching it thinking it was a real video?

Glyde.com is actually a pretty decent service, I've found more than a few good deals on there. I don't think I'd ever bother trying to sell through them though.

I was under the impression that games you get from Glyde are disc-only. Is that true?

No. My mom bought a few games from them a year or two ago, and they were complete.

hmm. I thought Glyde used Netflix-style envelopes to ship. I must be thinking of another service...

You're given options based on what they currently have available for each game: Disc Only, Good, Excellent, or New - the prices differ accordingly.

I didn't know it was an ad until a few seconds in, but I wanted to watch it anyway.

see, I'm surprised. I would think that such a deceitful way to trick you to watch an advertisement would really bother you.

Okay now im slightly impressed and particularly confused,

Gamestops Power Up Rewards now has a Retro Games Vault!?
Where you save up your points to get some old school Atari,Nes,Snes and I even think I saw Coleco games in there too.

But anyways now can you see my confusion :?

PS Those Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street Pint Glasses are PIMP as hell :D
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Yeah, that's pretty freaking awesome! But they cost soooooo many points. I'm not sure what you're confused about though.

I also only see 3 SNES games, and 3 NES games: Spy Hunter, 1942, and Mario Bros. (original) on NES, and Super Star Wars, Killer Instinct, and Mortal Kombat on SNES.
