- Elite employees at Megaupload had access to an unadulterated search engine of Megaupload's contents. That is fucking awesome.

Or was it that if they don't play new games every 60 days the bus will explode? Nono wait, they're addicted to games and if they don't have their fix they can't function for the day. Shit, consume entertainment or god kills a kitten? I can't keep it all straight guys. :?

There's an asteroid hurtling towards Earth and the only thing that will stop it is if we play many video games with an 80+ rating on metacritic that also manage to meet our own personal definition of quality.
That sounds suspciously similar to the last level of Ouendan.

I dunno man. People watching at the DMV can be pretty entertaining as long as you don't have to be somewhere at a specific time after you're done.

Because the servers were located in the US, the crimes were committed on our soil. The FBI/Justice Department worked with the New Zealand police who made the arrests. If they thought the case was baloney, the could have ignored the request or refused to extradite the people. The case wasn't all about piracy; there were a number of charges.

I went to another site to look some stuff up about wrestling, and clicked on one of those links that tells you it's about something it's not really about just to get you to click it. It took me to Megaupload's site, and there was this notice from government about the website being seized. I hope they didn't get my IP address and have me on some list.

Pff, what are you worried about? You can't be in trouble for visiting a site that was taken down by the FBI.

No, but I did download a crapload of magazines through RetroMags off of Megaupload before it was taken down.

I doubt you have anything to worry about.

Look at torrents, IPs are pretty much broadcast out in the open with those, yet you don't see the FBI busting down doors on people who used it to download a complete set of SNES roms.

The FBI is not some all pervasive, omni-present organization with unlimited man power and funding, despite what popular culture would have you believe. They really only give a crap about big cases where results in court are possible.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
