I've had a 360 since launch, but I just scored an amazing deal on an original Xbox and I'm wondering what games are worth checking out. I have 3 controllers+3 more on my 360, so multiplayer suggestions are definitely welcome.
Here's a list of what I plan on buying in the near future:
-Genma Onimusha
-Otogi 1 & 2
-Gunvalkyrie
-Phantom Dust
-Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy
-Fatal Frame 1 & 2
-Jet Set Radio Future
-Alien Hominid
-Crimson Skies
-Panzer Dragoon Orta
-Timesplitters 2 & Future Perfect
Here's a list of games I already have:
-Fable: The Lost Chapters
-KotOR
-KotOR 2
-Ninja Gaiden Black
-Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
-Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
and I have some defining games like Chaos Theory, Arx Fatalis, Morrowind and Max Payne on PC. So, with that in mind, have I missed anything? I feel like this is a pretty complete list but I love suggestions. I've also had a PS2 for years; if there's a great game that's Xbox exclusive or has its definitive version on the Xbox, I'd like to hear about it. Fatal Frame 2 is a great example of "definitive on Xbox;" MGS2 is a good example of the opposite.
So I just got an 0Xbox...
Re: Best NON-Backwards Compatible Xbox exclusive games?
The Steel Battalion games are pretty sweet but the required peripheral doesn't work on 360.
Re: Best NON-Backwards Compatible Xbox exclusive games?
Man, I've always thought Steel Battalion looked fun, but I can't imagine spending the admission fee. I'm sure it's a cool little novelty, but if I can't bring myself to throw down $100 on Earthbound I certainly won't be springing even more on a lesser game. Plus, can you imagine if the thing broke?
Also, I put "exclusive" in the title but if a game's definitive version is on the Xbox, I'd like to hear about it. Throw Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy on my wishlist.

Timesplitters Future Perfect!
It has a robust multiplayer, level editing (fairly simple),Bots and great options for all sorts of customization

If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

+1 for Kung Fu Chaos!
Other mentions with multiplayer that are a blast on Oxbox
-Def Jam Fight for NY (best 4 player fighter on the console.)
-XGRA (just got this game complete for a fiver. So much fun!)

Is Future Perfect generally considered the best Timesplitters? (never played any of them, but I've heard a lot of good things) Also, can you system-link an original Xbox with a 360? (assuming the game in question is backwards compatible, of course)
I'll be sure to check it out.CD AGES wrote:+1 for Kung Fu Chaos!
It looks alright, but why play a Wipeout/F-Zero knockoff when you can have the real thing?CD AGES wrote: -XGRA (just got this game complete for a fiver. So much fun!)

The Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix games are my favorite of the series and are non-backwards-compatible.
Toejam and Earl 3 is also pretty good. It has some flaws, but IMO is a solid entry in the series.

I'm really glad you mentioned this game; it never would've occurred to me.Toejam and Earl 3
Thoughts on Conker 64 vs Live & Reloaded? Considering that I can get the latter for about half the price. I understand that it's an inferior remake, but is it worth playing to someone who's never touched the game?
I originally made this thread to gauge whether I should keep the Xbox or sell it, but given the 360's glitchy backwards compatibility I've decided to keep it.

I find it to be one of the best FPS ever made.Period
Timesplitters 2 is also great and if not more popular than Futre Perfect.
I personally prefer FP which isn't BC,Im not sure about TS2.
And you can system link Xbox-Xbox360 as long as the games are BC.(Counter-Strike!...which has bots!!)
