Found a site that shipped to US and ordered it. Was about $50 USD, not too shabby. Cheaper than buying another Japan 360 for the short term.

I would still suggest picking it up, if nothing else as a nice break from the verticles. I don't play Deathsmiles II all the time, but I still wouldn't get rid of it. I think Cave does horis right, by actually giving them score mechanics, so I play DS2 more often than any other horiz.

Still, you could veg on just Futari for months and you'd still have so much of the game to enjoy.

What is your favorite so far?
My fav so far is a tie between dodonpachi dfk and bullet soul (now that its updated and scoring fixed i was worried that ntsc-j games wouldnt get updates on a us console but they do ^.^)
I have not played Bullet Soul, but DFK is great. I think the Arrange A mode is also excellent, and since the update, they seem to have rebalanced Arrange B as well.

No, I ordered before I saw your response. Oh well, I bookmarked the site in case any others pop up in Europe that are region free. Thanks for the info.

Nice try, but I'm a petty narcissist.

But one day, those games WILL be mine!

And just like Metroid Prime Trilogy and SMT: Nocturne, they won't be transferred to their system-specific CD binders.
