But not necessarily because of petitions. They may have just felt that European sales were strong enough, and they had already dubbed the game into English for the Euro release so not much effort involved for a positive return.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Xenoblade made it over.GameMasterGuy wrote:Actually, they do, thousands signed that one for Mother 3 to come to America, and now we- oh wait a second.hashiriya1 wrote:Do online petitions even help?

I'm with the overacting keanu reeves with goatee. Don't attend E3.
Re: DON'T GO TO E3 THIS YEAR!!!
Even if most petitions don't work, it's one of the only things we can do right now. I mean, I can't do anything for the fight on SOPA, but it doesn't take much energy at all to add one more signature to that very large petition.

You can call your senator and say you are against the SOPA Bill. You tell them your name and address. You can find your Senator by googling it.

You guys do realize that Nintendo and Sony support SOPA as well, right? You're gonna have to switch over to being Xbox/PC-exclusive gamers if you are truly serious about this.
EA supports it too, so you'd better stop buying their games. And when you do buy games, you won't buy them at Walmart. And you certainly won't drive a Ford or a Harley to get there. And you won't be wearing Nikes or a Rolex while you're out shopping, and when you get home you won't watch CBS, NBC or USA Network on a Toshiba or Sony TV with Bose speakers.

I know that. I'm saying that if you guys wanna boycott E3 because of SOPA support, you should be consistent and boycott all the companies who do. Or don't bother boycotting E3. Just be consistent, either way.Xeogred wrote:This thread is about the ESA.BoringSupreez wrote:You guys do realize that Nintendo and Sony support SOPA as well, right? Not doing something in the future vs not using something you've already purchased are two different things. Sure, I guess people get to see that you're wearing Nikes or whatever, but I doubt that's doing much to help their bottom line. As for me, yeah I try to be consistent in terms of the companies I "boycott." While I might not throw away the pair of Nikes I already have (that I don't really wear anyway, but that's not the point) I sure won't be going out and buying a new pair when they as a company are supporting legislation that I find detestable.BoringSupreez wrote:I know that.
