I don't see any you are missing (Grats, btw. You have in your hands some of the greatest games ever made ever
)
Akai Katana is supposed to be getting a PAL release that will hopefully follow suit and be playable on US region consoles.

I vastly prefer verticles myself. Akai Katana and Deathsmiles (jp versions) are the only cave games I'm missing that were ported.
I would still suggest picking it up, if nothing else as a nice break from the verticles. I don't play Deathsmiles II all the time, but I still wouldn't get rid of it. I think Cave does horis right, by actually giving them score mechanics, so I play DS2 more often than any other horiz.
Still, you could veg on just Futari for months and you'd still have so much of the game to enjoy.
What is your favorite so far?

Wait, there's a Do-don-pachi game that is region free? My Japanese 360 got the disc read error a little over a year ago, and I've been limited to my import shooters that are region free to play on my domestic 360 as I haven't had the spare cash yet to replace the import console. I have 3 Do-don-pachi import titles, and I know the first one wasn't region free, but I completed all the gamerscore on it before the import console died.
Which of the other two is the region free one? I have one that says "Ver. 1.5" that I played for about a week before my import console died, and one that says "Black Label" on the front that I'd already pre-ordered, but assumed was region locked and is still in the shrink wrap at the moment.
Is it one of those two that I could be playing, or is there a 4th release that I am unaware of that is region free? Any help here is appreciated.

DDP Resurrection is not region-free, there's a PAL/NTSC-US version and a NTSC-J version

Ah ok, that makes sense to me now. I guess I need to track down this Euro version that is region compatible with USA 360 then. Any shopping advice for european imports? I've always shopped Play-asia for Japan imports.

My fav so far is a tie between dodonpachi dfk and bullet soul (now that its updated and scoring fixed i was worried that ntsc-j games wouldnt get updates on a us console but they do ^.^)dunpeal2064 wrote:I vastly prefer verticles myself.
