If you really needed to see something you can just hit refresh on the page and quickly stop the loading to view it.

I noticed that, but why cheat them out of their effort? They should have just made the whole thing black to begin with, but I feel this is the more honorable thing to do. I can live without my obscure lookups (and sadly, my Backloggery) for a day.

Bonus smile: Click where it says "Image" on my sig (where my Backloggery would have been) for a fun SOPA video with a GORF reference. Freaking GORF! This is worth a day right here :)

Well, I'm not going to go without my obscure lookups. I wanted to know what Mafalda was, so I looked at a cached version of Wikipedia.

Smile: Won an untested Atari 2600 off Ebay for $11.49!

Pissed: It was a kind of a spur of the moment thing, and I ended up paying another $40 (including the postages) for a video cable, power pack and a controller for a console that might not work. Damn those after market companies charge a premium.

Smile, oh glorious Smiles: paula deen, food hack who hasn't done a good thing since she was smacked in the face with a ham and over reacted has now announced her fat self has diabetes due to her cooking. I'm not taking glory in the fact that she is ill, rather maybe idiots will realize that a stick of butter per meal isn't a great idea.

She's the dane cook of cooking. No substance, just bullshit that morons will eat up left and right.

Smile: I'm snowed in, so I get a free day off! :) Also, I'm happy to see Google, Wikipedia, and Craigslist all blacked out to protest SOPA/PIPA.

Today was a pretty happy day. I found a boxed Genesis at Goodwill for $15. Finally got rid of my big box of "get rid of" stuff and got some store credit at my local game store. Also finally got one of those new 3rd party N64 joystick replacements and it's pretty cool, now I don't have to feel paranoid about messing up any of my good joysticks. haha
And in all the excitement I managed to forget for an entire day about how fucking pissed off I've been about paypal being stupid and even forgot to go to the bank. haha
