I can't ever seeing myself paying top dollar for American Saturn (or PC-Engine or Super Famicom) games, and thankfully I can understand enough Japanese so importing is a viable option.
wow, really? i HATE the US packaging. always preferred the more slender, uniform look of the NTSC-J library.

I love love love long boxes (when they aren't broken and dirty). I don't care that they're fragile, the just look so expensive and awesome. Plus it feels like you're really getting something.

I posted this in another thread, but long box protectors are coming soon.

What if I damage my long box protector? If only there were something I could put it in to keep it safe.

i do this, too. i don't even really collect much anymore but i just can't bear to see good cases going to waste like that. i know SOMEONE will want it. the numbers are dwindling.

fun fact: Sega CD and Saturn cases differ in the size of the hole/notch on the hinge, with the SCD just slightly bigger.

Saga is easily hands down one of the best games I have ever played. The story, battles, bosses, and graphics(for '98 and on a Saturn!) are all top notch! Is it perfect? Not quite, but it sure is damn close. The only problem I have with it is that its pretty easy, especially the second time around.

I was not aware of that;
I think I even switched some SCD cases for Saturn inserts some years back (nothing expensive IIRC). I hope that's the only difference in the fit. I didn't notice anything else either, except that the backing wouldn't cooperate sometimes; but I just attributed it to slight bends in the paper.

Some would argue Panzer Dragoon Saga isn't worth the $200....

Personally though, I paid £80 for it a few years back, and to be honest, I love it! At the end of the day, £80 may seem a lot to some people for an "old second hand game", but that's less than twice the price of 2 brand new PS3/360 games here, and for a game so legendary and one I had wanted since I first heard about it in 1998, it doesn't seem so silly to me.
