Haven't posted here in a while, you guys find some pretty amazing stuff!
I visited the flea market today, most of the people know what they're selling and it ain't cheap. (I.E. $20 for a SNES game) still I found some pretty good stuff.

Game Boy Pocket with Mario Baseball $7
It's in pretty good condition! The only thing is missing is the battery cover. I'm looking forward to getting some good GB games such as Pokemon.

Professor Layton and The Diabolical Box $2
Found this in a stash of old toys unfortunately is the cart only (If anyone has the box please PM me :D )

Rayman Origins $19.99
Got this as soon as I found out that ToysRus had the sweet deal. This game is a MUST for 2D fans.

I recommend if you're planning to "find one" to pick up a adapter to use the wall plug in. Other wise you're running this thing on six batteries... just one more mistake Nintendo made on this thing.

Have not thrifted locally in a while, but while in Indy on business hit up a Goodwill and found a CIB Boogerman for Genesis and a copy of Astyanax in one of those plastic rental NES cases with the booklet for Cybernoid inside. Both $4.99, a bit higher than locally.

Also checked out Half Price Books for the first time. Decent selection of 25-30 NES carts, none of which I had to have, even for $2.99, and a handful of Genesis sports titles were all the retro they had. Wish there was one closer, nice place.

I'll probably be you in a couple of months. Those weird ass consoles are just so interesting and tempting.
Once you try them you kind of get used to it. I only have tennis so it isn't too bad but i'd imagine with the dual d-pads it could get interesting.

It is weird powering the system through the controller.

I believe Teleroboxer is the only game that uses dual d-pads. It's a fun game if you like punchout, although I find the AI to be harder than punchout.

Don't think so, everything was near my motel off of 465, around Michigan Rd. and 86th. When I saw those games I remembered you posting that local Goodwill's price games on the high side, and you were right!

There was 27" or so Sony Trinitron at that Goodwill for $9.99 if your interested. Did not check what kind of inputs it had, guessing at least stereo composite and S-video. There was no room in our trailer for it and lugging it back in the cab of the pickup would not be worth the shit my co-worker would give me, so I passed.

We need some sort of criteria established folks. A good story, a rare item, below market value, something...otherwise i'm going to start posting my amazon purchase receipts for every new ps3 game I buy.
Agreed. I mean, it's cool if there was something a bit unique or cheap enough to make someone jealous, but the whole "I found a few common NES games for average/above-average prices and some X-Box/PS2 stuff slightly overpriced" is just filler.

Found a Crystal X-Box for $30? Not amazing, but still cool and not easy to find generally. Post that. Found a Virtual Boy for an average price? They don't show up in the wild everyday, so that's cool. Found a stack of NES games for normal price, but there were a few harder-to-find gems? Not great, but still cool.

I think there is a line between "OMG!!1! I found some NES games" and "hey, this is kinda cool."
