Well so far this game has terrible reviews (as far as the "official critics" are concerned). Anyone here played it yet?

After playing Silent Hill 4 I don't think I can stomach another escort mission.

I don't have a PS3 or an XBOX360, but I love to read bad reviews.

(Seriously, if you have not read some of Roger Ebert's classic reviews of movies he hated, then you should check them out. He actually compiled them into two different books. Likewise, if you can find a NY Times review absoluting shredding a new musical or stage play, you should check that out too. The venom drips off the page in the best way possible.)

Anyway - for what it is worth - IGN hated this game:

It also has a 36 rating on MetaCritic; so, apparently - with one exception - everyone else that has played it actively disliked it as well.

Wow. That IGN review was unprofessionally harsh. I feel bad for anyone involved in making this game. Reading that, I feel shame, and I didn't even have anything to do with making the game.
