Anybody Into Collecting Knives?

Cutco is top quality, and I'm not just saying that because my girlfriend used to sell them.

Whoa. I had no idea the santoku set I got as a gift was that pricey. They really are great knives, but I made the same mistake earlier with Chicago Cutlery and just wrote off Cutco as "cheap knives".

Gah, Chicago Cutlery is top quality too, and in my rather uninformed opinion, better than Cutco.

I was just gifted a set of Chicago Cutlery steak knives for christmas. I like them a lot, but I haven't had them long enough to know how well they keep an edge. So far they're a lot better than the hand me down serrated steak knives I've been using.
