well school buses do tend to look like school buses. But beyond that... that other shit HAD to be intentional. I mean, it's just way too coincidental. Plus, SH had lots of other weird references (like Sonic Youth band members as teachers' names).

What REALLY blows my mind is how anybody picked up on this. Who was watching K-Cop and said "hey! That poster in the background was in SH wasn't it?"

I didn't pick up on that. Jeez. Seriously. Has to be intentional. Which is hilarious.

This is awesome, but it's hard to believe anything on the internet when Photoshop exists.

They could have just been common signs at the school they took influence from.

The David Lynch references are almost surely intentional. I got Lynch vibes on my first playthrough of that game, before I read any theories on the Internet. Still, reading that was interesting and makes me want to replay the game and keep an eye out, because I'm a pretty big David Lynch fan and recently marathoned a bunch of his movies.

yeah, but nods to Lynch films, horror fiction and movies, and good music make sense and are long well-documented...a nod to Kindergarden Cop is just bizzare

Kindergarten Cop is a classic. Not a good classic, but still a classic.
