Not that it will help it win but Time Pilot 84 is not the same as Time Pilot. I did list 2 different games there.

Booo on the Gradius/Salamander/Axelay choices. That's like saying I'm going to play a Nintendo game and choosing Mario/Zelda or a Sega game and choosing Sonic/SoR.

My thought was to start easy and recognizable at first, after all, many will probably be trying to get a bunch of these. This thing is going to be institutionalized like TR, although my vote strongly leans toward not playing current shmups as part of the SotMC.

THERE WERE MARIO, ZELDA, AND SONIC SHMUPS?!?!?!?!Hobie-wan wrote:Booo on the Gradius/Salamander/Axelay choices. That's like saying I'm going to play a Nintendo game and choosing Mario/Zelda or a Sega game and choosing Sonic/SoR.
On second thought.. a zelda styled shmup named Zeldar or something would be pretty sick.
Think of the possibilities... Mariox, Skonic. All legit names for shmups.

Just downloaded it, but I have no time to play it tonight or tomorrow (flying to Florida for a week). But seriously I'm playing this instead of Truxton (also, I haven't gotten a hold of the Genny cart yet, and now I'll be away from my games for a week, so comp games it is!).Hobie-wan wrote:http://www.freewebz.com/gmgateway/games.html

Crisis Force (famicom, 1991) +3
Space Manbow (msx/virtual console, 1989) +2
Salamander 2 (arcade/saturn/ps1, 1996) +1
I haven't been playing Truxton enough at all. MVS Blazing Star came in the mail a lot sooner than expected and well... yeah.
I've just been playing Blazing Star.
the video cuts off but there's a cut scene at the end where Mario goes into the pipe like normal before 1-2, but after he goes in the pipe it spits out a ton of blood
then the classic Game Over screen plays.

There's a Super Mario Bros shmup created on Dezaemon 2 for the Saturn. It's only one level but it's pretty fun and well made considering how it was made. there's a video on youtube:fvgazi wrote:

I almost said Crisis Force as I own it, but I was being deliberately silly.
