I wanted to love it and it was recommended by my bff, netflix, because I said I enjoyed "Dexter", "Six Feet Under", and "Sons of Anarchy" - but my wife and I just couldn't get into it - we got through episode 4 and gave up on it. To note, I like Rome, OZ, etc - but did not like Weeds, and it felt like Weeds to me. A show that seems to think its funnier or more shocking than it is.
I got into it from the start. The first episode was a bit strange in the beginning but it makes sense as you watch more of the show. I liked how the show will sometimes start with a snippet of action that is puzzling but you then understand it at the end of the show. My wife likes the show and she also enjoys Dexter, Weeds. I've watched a few episodes of Weeds but didn't care for it. Weeds seems to me more of a sitcom while Breaking Bad is more drama with lots of humorous bits. The acting is very well done.

You might want to try to give it another try sometime. What did you not like about the show or what turned you off?

If you have netflix, the 1st three seasons are on there. Or you can download a torrent somewhere. Anyway, time for me to go down and watch a couple more episodes.

I'd call her back and tell her I thought about it, and decided, as a compromise, that I'd be willing to push her down a flight of stairs if she wished. You know, to be helpful.

Wear a good disguise and have some random other person record it and post it to youtube so she can show the doctor she really fell. That'll be extra helpful.

Smile: Just made the most kick-ass home made fries. If you don't mind me saying so, I think they give any shit you buy from Macca's a run for their money.

Pissed: Still no word from work even to tell me I have no shifts. What is this shit?

Smile: Taking today and tomorrow off to spend time with a friend who isn't doing too hot. His MS is super aggressive, to the point where I'm a little nervous about seeing him. He's one of my best friends, and in less than a year he's lost his vision, and the ability to walk without help.

But if you know me, which you don't, you would know that as soon as I see my buddy any bit of nervousness will be gone. I've got a bag of gifts for the guy, including a Talking Classics dvd that we'll "watch" together. And if he cooperates, I'd like to get my friend out of the house. We'll see.

Ticked: Gas is close to $4 a gallon here, making my trip a little more expensive than planned.

Love making these. From sweet potato fries, roasted red potato fries with cumin, to the regular russet in oil, it's hard to beat home made fries.
