I say alternate between manic and classic. I dont want to wait until july to get some actual scoring discussion going on, instead of just trying to figure out the majestic Noise.
Also, after a month of really digging into a shmup with a scoring mechanic, something straightforward will have more appeal. Psikyo and Raizing back to back would be brutal

Good dev list -- glad Capcom made the cut, as well as Taito, Raizing, Compile, and Konami.
I'll do the manic months, just won't be as good at them !

2 things:
The shmups thing should be in August - but since we are taking a full-month for a game, I don't see a problem with running our contest at the same time.
Also, since no one else went with Success, we don't have many chances at a cute em' up, so i'm hoping we can have our Konami game fit that bill.
