This.
I might have to get it...

...sometime.
Let me guess: "sometime" means another 10 years from now.

No, I like Mario Kart. I do have a gift card I need to use. "Sometime" could be like a week or so.

Pushmo is awesome! By far one of my favorite puzzle games.

I recently got Sonic Generations: Ao no Bouken and Super Mario 3D Land, both 3DS games.

I played through the first 3 or 4 zones in Sonic Generations, and it's a pretty decent game. Nothing that amazing. It was actually rather hard for me. I kept falling off the levels and having to restart at the beginning. I hate how the modern Sonic is a 2D side scroller. He moves so fast and I don't have enough time to react to anything. With enough repeat play and memorization, I can beat it, but it's annoying.

I played through the first 4 worlds of Super Mario 3D Land, and while it has been extremely easy so far, I enjoyed it very much. The controls are great, and the level design is amazing. Every level is different and interesting the whole way through. When I saw the Noko Nokos (Koopa Troopas) in World 1-2, I jumped on their shells until I had 1100 lives, lol.

Now, I am someone who has the 3D slider turned to OFF about 95% of the time. For Mario, I had it on full blast about half the time I played, and it worked fairly well. The 3D does help with jumping and such. However, if I would move my head or the 3DS ever so slightly, it would break the 3D. As good as the 3D is for Mario, it can't make up for that.

I really wanted to give the 3D a chance and I'm glad I did. But toward the end of my playing, I ended up leaving it off most of the time, only turning it on occasionally to check something. If Nintendo can improve the 3D viewing angle with future 3DS models, I may end up using it more.

Inazuma, Mario picksup after awhile. Make sure you get all the Star coins in each stage. I am replaying the game as Luigi and the game is really really good, just slow to start. The 3d is nifty, but I play with it disabled, unlike Star Fox.

I found Super Mario 3D Land was harder with the 3D off. The 3D makes a lot of sense in that game.

I took your advice. I went to back to the start and now I'm going through each level again and getting all the star coins. It's fun to explore and figure out ways to get them.

Between Pilotwings Resort, Star Fox 64 3D, and the flying shell segments of Rayman 3D, I've become convinced that yes, 3D is a gimmick for the most part, however any behind-the-back flying game benefits infinitely from it.

Question for anyone who might be an engineer and might know a thing or two about batteries. Is there any chance the battery life of the 3DS model 2 (whatever it's called) will be greatly increased compared to the first 3DS? I really want one, but that fucking battery life......
