what's your marital status?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I am up for letting this all be solved over a high score game of Bust-A-Move though. Just saying.
I know truth and logic don't work on most people, but I still try anyway. I have a strong desire to help others.

But yeah, maybe I should take a break. Hopefully this will cause some people to actually think about things for once. It only takes a slight doubt to get the ball rolling, and then before you know it, you are able to think for yourself. I know because it happened to me.
Dude you should just shut it down there. I actually wasnt annoyed or mad until this shitty parting shot you just put out there. I am not alone when I say I am sick of your condescending BS. I fully think for myself and heavily base my life and every day decisions on logical thought processes, I am an engineer after all... However, when someone who I feel uses bad logic on many of their arguments to then say I dont use logic or think, is beyond frustrating and fairly insulting.

I again question why I even bother responding to your trollish comments, I shall not fall into your trap or cross your bridge again.

sbk,

I don't think I was trying to convince anyone that they should get married, and certainly don't think either of us is wrong. It certainly isn't for everyone, and if you don't believe in marriage, well you probably shouldn't get married.

I do find it odd when someone tells me I'm wrong when I say I'm looking forward to getting married though.

Was Bust-a-Move on the SNES? I might be able to partake of it if I can find the rom.

this exactly, I wasn't telling anyone they should or shouldn't get married, but defending my and others decisions to get married and discuss the benefits and motivations behind doing so.

Don't get me wrong I in no way think you are wrong to get married. I wish you all the luck in the world man. Unlike Inazuma and Jmustang I can have this talk without it blowing up into play by play arguments (not a diss on either of you). I just think you both were working each other up trying to defend something that is a personal choice that neither are going to budge on. You are both right and wrong. Also I was thinking of the one on N64. Would that work for you?

sbk,

No feelings hurt here. Funny, but I never thought my first post in here would cause a thread implosion.

Nah we were just having a point per point discussion and breaking down arguments and points of view. I wasn't mad in the slightest. But I should've known better than to fall in the trap on arguments based on personal decisions, this is true.

Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

On another note, if I were to get married it'd be to shut my girlfriend up. lol We've been together for I think 4 years next month. I love her and everything but I feel it's kind of weird to get married when it's kind of supposed to be a religious thing, although I realize it doesn't have to be (I'm not religious). I do like the thought of being able to call her my wife though and show my lifelong commitment to her. As for any legal rights that might be in it for us, well obviously that's the only reason us gays wanna get married, duh.

Agreed.

Also Jmustang I was more commenting about your blow up there at the end which I do thing Inazuma did come off like an asshole so it wasn't unexpected to react like that. Personally I like you both and I don't care what marriage says about yall.

Ya I just feel there is a way to have discussions and even arguments while still being respectful to the other person in which you are discussing, even with a disagreement.
