What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yes, but lets clarify what we are betting on.

1- Ideas of Stephen Hawkings ( this one will be hard to bet because no one knows his true mind)
2- Don't believe I've watched or read anything by him ( only way to proof this is debate on SH writing and lectures )

And lets down the bet to a friendly $50

I will bet you $100 that you know nothing about the ideas of Stephen Hawkings, and I don't believe you've watched or read anything by him.

You did step in a trap.

You kept posting about someone named "Stephen Hawkings"...with an "s"....not "Stephen Hawking"

You should learn the name of your idol, man!

I'll leave it to you if you want to pay up :)

Just finished Rising Sun on instant queue. Never saw if before but always wanted to. Kinda torn. I really want to like this movie, but it is very predictable and its depiction of Japanese culture is a thin caricature at best. It is one of Connery's more cheesy performances as well. Honestly what I love best about it is the nostalgia of the set pieces, cars, hairdos and clothing. SO awesomely 90s. Other than that, pass.

Ohhh man thats cheap.... I would be willing to pay if i had to use my knowledge of to explain the creation of the universe, time paradox..etc.. from a - z from his standpoint.

BUt comon on spellings i blame that on my poor grammar/english. I tend to add S's where not needed. For further proof look at some previous writing and post on this site. :?

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
Great casting (even if the kid got annoying sometimes), good story, excellent ending. It is a tear jerker for sure.

The Artist
Simply amazing. I wish they had taken it one step further and used old lenses on it, some of it is super sharp. For them shooting it in present day Hollywood it sure looks like the 20s.

Watched Return of the Living Dead. Was exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the recommendation there guys. It was lacking on the gore side of things, but it was a good watch. Reminded me a lot of Class of Nuke 'Em High.

No problem man. Yeah it's not the goriest zombie flick out there but still a classic nonetheless. Class of Nuke 'Em High was pretty cool although I'm not big on Troma films, just a few that I like here and there. Return of the Living Dead seemed to get gorier in the sequels, especially pt.3.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
