Whos avatar annoys you the most?

Where do you guys find 80x80 avatars? Or do you resize? I am going to retire little Chii for awhile.

I've always taken full-size images and resized them using MS Paint (one of the few things it's good at.)

Unless you know how to make the background transparent, just use jpeg. Especially if it's colorful, as gif images can only display 256 colors.

Pfft, done right you can use 32-64 colors and make it a really small file.

A story as old as the hills. People were bugging me to get a avatar after two avatar-less years on the board. Originally I was going to try and take a screen shot of the default forum view and make a square of that color. Kind of an invisible avatar. But then I decided I'd rather use a color that I liked.
