Killer Instinct is wholly owned by Rare, just like Conker and Banjo-Kazooie. Diddy's in brawl though.

A Tanooki suit as an item would be cool, though if they're goign to put an item from SMB3 in I'd prefer it to be Kuribo's Shoe.

I doubt Megaman will appear on Smash Bros, being a Capcom character and all.

Now, both Konami and Sega have a lot of fun characters they can add to the game. Belmont and Dracula would be fun and while the Vic Viper would be weird as a character maybe we can get a Gradius stage.

Sega has a ton of them besides Sonic. Alex Kidd would be a good fit and perhaps someone from the House of the Dead or Phantasy Star would be cool. Again, Sega can provide dozens of scenarios for the game and some good music.

But more than anything I want them to keep Snake and Sonic, they were great!

Concerning Golden Sun, it would be cool to have a character with a sword and magic, it could be fun to use if you make him slow or whatever.

Bomberman would be great and perfectly fitting for Smash Bros, I would love to have him around. Explosions are great!

A lot of the characters I'd like to see playable were Assist trophies (or their game had assist trophies) in the last game:

Saki Amamiya - Sin & Punishment
Isaac - Golden Sun
Starfy - The Legendary Starfy
Jill - Drill Dozer
Andy - Advance Wars
Ray mk II - Custom Robo (he could be made bigger - a lot of brawl characters are totally resized anyway)
Little Mac - Punch Out!!

Others I'd like to see:
An Animal Crossing character - Animal Crossing series
Sukapon - Joy Mecha Fight (Famicom)
Paper Mario - If we get any more mario characters, it should be this guy. He'd be totally unique and represents his own series of games.
Chibi Robo - Chibi Robo series
Agent J. or the main agent in Osu! Tatakae!! Ouendan!!! - Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan series.
The Karate Man - Rhythm Heaven/Paradise/Tengoku series (this one is probably better as an assist trophy really, but Id love to see the game represented.)

There's probably more, but my main point is that I'd like to see some of Nintendo's slightly more obscure series represented rather than more people from their popular series. It'd be win-win for nintendo too - Characters who have a representative in Brawl raise the profile of their game series hugely and seem to increase demand. Fire Emblem came to the west as a direct result of Melee, Kid Icarus got a new game after Brawl, and fan demand for the Mother series certainly went crazy after the Smash series started too.

I could see some Castlevania characters, Bomberman, Bonk, Tails, Knuckles, etc. being added. They are all properties owned by Konami or Sega, who have previous allowed their characters in Smash Bros.

Kabuki from Far East of Eden would also be sweet.

Could they please fix the weird scale problem that the last two games have had? It just drives me nuts constantly noticing that characters are WAY bigger than the stages.

If they had Agent G and Goldman I'd buy that game in a heartbeat. They could make some HotD stages too. :)

Mega Man would be a perfect fit, though. Maybe Capcom can put gamers first every now and then?

You're right. They should include Mega Man from Mega Man Legends 3.
