I think you nailed it right there. That game had a certain attitude that I really liked. It really fit the Genesis as that console was always about having a grittiness, style and attitude to its games that set it apart from Nintendo I think. I think even when you compare Super Castlevania to Castlevania Bloodlines, they're both great, but Bloodlines seemed darker and more interesting. You look at Final Fight and Streets of Rage. I won't say that one is better than the other, but the SOR series definitely has a bit more style and a bit more attitude.
Anyway, people say HC is super hard, but it's all patterns and memorization. Then it gets a lot easier. Though I have to say, the path that I used to take through the game always had me dying at the last boss. I'll have to give it another shot one of these days, but I have Hard Corps Uprising on the back burner and that may have to come first

Seriously. Screw you Shao Kahn I'm gonna play Animal Crossing.
I'm gonna have to say the topic OP because I never liked Chupon from Final Fantasy VI. He was always a pain with that toothy smile of his in the coliseum
Oh man, now that a bunch of you are switching I'm going to have a hard time recognizing everybody.
I have to say, although Hobie's clearly got some excellent artistic skills as evidenced by his self-made avatar, I didn't realize how attached I was to Mr. Yuk until he was gone.
