Final Fantasy XIII-2

Don't see a thread about this game yet and its coming out at the end of the month. How many of you are going to get this game? Has FFXIII scared you away from this game? Who's going to get the collector's edition?

Scared me away? I loved FFXIII! Yeah, you had to get through 25 of boring linearity to reach 100 hours of open-world fun... but guess what? FFVI was 20 hours of linearity to reach 30 hours of fun. Is 5 hours really that much to get 70 extra fun hours?

Looks terrible but I'll buy it anyway!!! I am drawn to FF games for some reason, no matter how horrible. I even got XIV!

I plan on getting XIII-2, but not day one. I will get it at some point, but probably after a price drop, or if I find it used or something. I'm not in a serious rush to play it. But I'm a fan and will get to it.

I was debating of getting the collector's edition but judging by how FFXII collector's edition has dropped to practically nothing, I'm skeptical about whether its worth the money.

Not a huge fan of FFXIII, but I pre-ordered XIII-2 collector's edition anyway.

I'll definitely get it but not right away. I'll probably wait until it drops to $30-40. Also there is a demo coming out tomorrow on PSN and Xbox Live for any of you that are on the fence.

really depends, but I will wait for the right time to purchase. Looking forward to purchase the limited edition, but not for 79.99!

I want to make sure I have enough cash for Tales of Graces and Xenoblade.

Pretty much my exact thoughts. It's never a question of "if" I'll get a new FF game, but "when". I'll probably pass on the Collector's Edition. I'm actually getting kind of sick of everything having a Collector's Edition anymore. It really makes the whole concept seem not very special anymore. Plus, as nice as some of them may be(Batman Arkham City), there's just no place to put all those over sized things
