Games you have bought for weird reasons

I bought Auto Modellista because it has the same announcer as Capcom VS SNK 2...

The game at least looks pretty and has a kick-ass soundtrack...can't say the same about the physics, however.

I like to buy games based on Asian history such as Romance of Three Kingdom series, Kessen, Shogun Total War, and Koei Dynasty Warriors. The games/characters relate so much to the many drama series i watched when i was growing up, so it gives me some nostaligia feel even if i didnt even own the game then.

I really like history, so I can totally understand this logic.

I think anyone interested in Chinese history would be sorely disappointed with KOEI's wild and flagrant interpretation of it. The Dynasty Warriors series seems to get increasingly more inaccurate with each game, the only accurate things in them are the names of the characters and battles. "Romanticized" isn't even the word I'm looking for.

I get what you're saying and all, but DW is the last place I'd look if I wanted to see cool representations of historical events.

Actually, I already own a copy of ET in storage.. When I unpack everything into my new gameroom in a few months, they'll definitely be prominently displayed in a dark seedy corner of my gameroom - The Unholy Triumvirate!

I bought E.T. and Atari 2600 Pac-Man for the same reasons. I've been on the look-out for Superman 64 in the wild. And I totally forgot about Shaq-Fu, but it totally belongs with the rest of them.
