It could be built similarly to the game portion without any problems I could forsee, and could be broken up by genre or type of media it came out on. I'd love to be able to see into more grindhouse movies, and great classic horror. (The only good "Night of the Living Dead" is the original, damnit.)

Just a thought. I mean, we could do grindhouse movie of the week or something. I would love to see this.

we have a movies thread, and I'd guess that the large majority of the discussion there is of movies from at least ten years ago, with many us us watching grindhouse, golden age, noir, and other "retro" films. You should jump in to the discussion there: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7221

Thanks for moving it, I had hell finding this thread earlier.

I've been in that thread and posted in there, but I would still like to see a cleaner, article based style to it. With it like that, you have to search the thread for a movie, and if it isn't there, you have to ask. This works, but I'd still like to see a cleaner version.

Meh, open still if you want it.

Looks like yet another thread has been ruined by pointless arguing. Maybe we could have a special sub-forum titled "Arguments" and all threads like this would be moved there. Sort of a combination argument clinic and Racketboy hall of shame.

I apologize for troll feeding, I should've quit long before, but it is sometimes tough to resist lol. This is a good recommendation.

Maybe instead of locking just move the off-topic material to its own thread, or perhaps a mega-thread?

Have a worst threads area, similar to Smogon's Trou Du Cul?

Just read through some of those threads. Some of them are just hilarious. They NEED their own special area.

Or we could just try to be vigilant and not have them.

"View your posts" isn't working, at least in the Subsilver layout. It is pulling up threads I've definitely not posted in recently, if ever.

I'd like to suggest having threads on piracy be instalocked. It just ends in the same tired arguments and no actual debate gets done. I think I speak for several of us when I say they're getting old and annoying.
