Emulation on PS Vita

Post by elmagicochrisg »

Which consoles do you think the PS Vita will be able to emulate?...

Me personally I would love to see the Dreamcast emulated on it.

No idea if that is even possible though...

I think it's supposed to have PS2 emulation.

I'm really hoping for Gamecube emulation. I've been waiting for ages for GC emulation on a portable. It probably won't be close to perfect, but it's certainly better than the absolutely comatose state of emulation on smartphone platforms. :?

Actually, I take back what I said about stagnating emulation on smartphones. It seems that it is thriving on Android, but only stagnating on iOS. My evidence? Shenmue running at 102% speed on an Android phone, while iOS doesn't even have a working N64 emulator anymore.

I can't find ANY gameplay at all on youtube. Could have quite easily been faked. I can show you Shenmue 'running' on my iPhone 4 if you like. Hell, why not just show 'Modern Warfare 3' on there?

on the XDA Developers forum in the thread for NullDCE/Android as it was called the author has supposedly abandoned development. It's my theory that he (and his supposed tester) that were posting in the thread and providing videos were running a scam trying to stir up donations to the effort. This is why no source or apk have been provided even in an alpha state.
