Earthbound runs around 80-150 cart only the box it self runs allmost equal to that depending on the condition. If it is complete you are looking at 400-500. $450 is a fair price. If you find a complete earthbound for $200 it is and incredible find.

No Earthbound is not "rare" many were sold in North America but so many people hold onto this game that it is very hard to find. To put it in context a "unopened" Earthbound runs from $1000-2000

(Fun fact When Earthbound was originally sold it was not shrink wrapped so an unopened Earthbound is really just a mint condition complete in box Earthbound)

When they put Chronotrigger on to the VC the price dropped about $10 for about one month then whent back up to its original price despite what many people think putting games on to the VC rarely effects rare games cart price in a large way. I would guess that putting Earthbound onto the VC would drop the price $5-10.

Those prices are so six months ago. :D

$400-500 is a fair price for CIB if the box is in the usual condition, with significant whitening or other damage. It seems it is the box that drives the price on CIB.
