I actually did not enjoy the Psyvariar games too much. It seems like the base idea of dodging bullets is overtaken by the constant spinning-invincibility. It reminds me of Touhou in that if someone walked into the room not knowing what you were doing, they would think you were godly, even though you aren't really doing much. The only challenge is scoring up to the amount that is required to get alternate levels. Just playing the game for casual scoring/clearing felt far too short and easy.
The patterns are pretty, but I think Shikigami does grazing better than anyone, aside Raiden Fighters. Then again, I've never played Ibara Kuro.
