I never liked the cord at the bottom,

You can have the indent at the bottom of the controller hold it, just saying.

Then you can turn your 3 inch cord into a 2 inch cord. That's my only issue with the wire coming out of the bottom, it makes an already short controller cord even shorter. Unless you hold the controller vertically, which is just kinda weird.

That's actually pretty much my favourite thing about modern controllers, they're either wireless or have like 9 foot cables. Realistically, even at 9 feet, a controller barely reaches from my console to my couch.
