Guys I need help.
I have an european version of Atari 2600jr with three original controllers like this: http://www.old-computers.com/museum/photos/atari_7800pal_controller_1.jpg
The console has been stored in a box for quite some time, so today I decided to take it for a spin. I plug it in...nice picture, good sound. Try to play...no response. I try with the other two controllers and still no movement whatsoever. I disassemble the console and controllers and try to clean the connections. No rust inside, no bad soldering. All connections 1A. When I try again still the same s*** as before.
Is it possible that the controller ports are dead? What can I do in that case?
I don`t wanna buy a new console, because my is near mint condition(but worthless I guess). I think I`m gonna cry.
Atari 2600jr dead controller port?

the Atari 2600 Field Service Manual might help you: http://www.atariguide.com/pdfs/Atari_26 ... Manual.pdf (read section 5, 8 and 9).
or you can read through here as well: http://www.atariguide.com/help/care.htm
hope that helps.
