Softmod xbox XBMC question

Post by flyinburritoman »

Greetings,
Here's my question: How do I get my emulators to show up in XBMC?

I finally was able to find time to softmod my dust gathering xbox1 so that I can participate the Retro togerther club.
The softmod was a success. I have to give Wyatt credit for introducing me to the idea. I followed a tutorial to make my own memory card using an old USB flash drive and spare Usb cable. I used the Splinter Cell method to softmod my xbox.

I selected UnleashX for the dashborad and was able to FTP emulators and some games (did not install larger HD as funds are limited, maybe in the future). I was also able to install XBMC and am able to run it as an app. I was reading that you can replace XBMC as the default dashboard by simply swaping out the default.xbe dashboard file with the one supplied with the XBMC dashboard. That worked, xbox boot directly into XBMC, but finally my question: How do I get my emulators to show up in XBMC? I can launch them via the file browser, but with such an awesome interface, there should be an easier way to launch them. In UnleashX there's an emulation section, is there such a thing for XBMC?

Also, how hard is it to replace the stock hard drive with a larger one?

Thanks in advance!

You can add them as a source under your "Programs" tab.

What ftp program are you using?

Did you make sure to select/enter the correct destination folder?
