Half-Life (PS2)

I bought Half-Life 2 for PS2 yesterday as well, but at Goodwill for $3. Never Played Half-Life before.

ok, so it looks like this thread is running a little different than last year, which is fine by me. I'll probably still do a monthly post of games acquired, but I guess in the meantime it's a good place to just list stuff as it comes in...

I went to that store that shall not be named today and walked away with these 11 games for about $75



This is just the latest in some PSP-splurging, I'll list the full rundown closer to the end of January/start of February.

Half-Life (PS2)

You should look into playing the first one (and Blue Shift) on your Dreamcast.

They look nice in 480p VGA... ^^

such a nice haul. SF Alpha Anth is one of best bang-for-yr-buck PS2 releases. Capcom Fighting Evolution is awesome if you let it be. Knights in the Nightmare is... DEPT HEAVEN! Though I must say I found Exit to be a little meh.

I had no idea it had Pocket Fighter in it prior to seeing it today in the store. This alone made it a must buy for the $13 or so they were asking (plus it was part of that B2G2 you mentioned, so it was even cheaper, really)

Capcom Fighting Evolution is awesome if you let it be.

This is a reacquisition for me, and I agree.

I was pleasantly surprised about the great condition of all the games and manuals (all are CIB and pretty damn minty).

yeah Pocket Fighter alone goes for like $18 on PS1. It's a very generous collection. Capcom Fighting Evolution is very underrated. It's a black sheep -- and understandably so. But it's also kind of great in a sort of I don't know... "black sheep" kind of way? Like a direct-to-video sequel that is surprisingly enjoyable even if it isn't exactly "good."

I guess my wife is a "gamer" now... I bought her 3 games for xmas, and she bought herself 3 more since. She's playing Epic Mickey right now and she just said (to herself) "this mouse is gonna drive me to drink."
