It would be nice seeing some DOS games here. I'd like to see Beneath a Steel Sky, Doom (of course), and the Commander Keen series.
Oh yeah -- I actually played a lot of the GB version as well. Not as much with the NES version.

I would really like to see Megarace for (segacd, windows95, dos, 3DO) make it in there. Its a great game IMO that not alot of people played and combines beautiful prerendered tracks with some decent sprites and gameplay, but what makes it complete is the ULTIMATLY AWESOME MUSIC. (which the 3DO version doesnt have, but it runs the smoothest of all)

Lots of SEGA goodness coming up then. Good.

As for the next RPG, I'd imagine everyone's already played Chrono Trigger. I'd think Earthbound or Shining Force would be new to more people. Though Chrono Trigger does have replay value.

Some 90s adventures would be a very nice touch. This genre's so retro they don't even make them anymore. I was always a Sierra kid, but Monkey Island would be a good choice. Hilarious game, and SCUMMVM is available on any platform. Also, it would be a good chance for me to try out the Sega CD version. Alternatively, Quest for Glory 4 is an absolute masterpiece of story telling, a little buggy but it runs under DOSBOX, so it should be accessible to everyone. Kings Quest 3 stands out as one of the best AGI text parser games. KQ1 and KQ2 were scavenger hunts, KQ3 is an *adventure*.

Of course, Snatcher is real close to an adventure game, but it's probably best described as interactive fiction. I loved that game, got stuck on one light gun sequence at the end and gave up though

Great set of picks all around though. I'll have to go pick up a trackball for Marble Madness.

I'm really looking forward to every one of these, and playing a little Vice City in between.

You know, I agree. Any of the Monkey Island games would kick ass as an introduction to adventure titles.

PC games were passed on initially since the site is more console orientated. I still want to do some Apple ][ games - Dr Livingstone I Presume, Ali Baba, Space Eggs, The Prisoner, etc, so dont count all pc gaming out just yet...

Monkey Island is great, but I still like Fate of Atlantis the most.

I believe you have an error in your future lineup. Super RC Pro-Am was a title for the Gameboy as a sequel to RC Pro-Am on the NES. However RC Pro-Am II was released on the NES in 1992, one year after Super RC Pro-Am.
