Just a clip from South Park, nothing personal.

Getting drunk is an unwanted side effect of enjoying high quality alcohol. Drinking shit beer to get drunk is a complete and utter waste of time. Expanding my palette and knowledge of quality beer/spirit is definitely a worthwhile pass time.

Żywiec Porter again tonight. Got about three more of these things in the fridge. My other half drank Baltika Dark Lager. Drank it with steak and dill potatoes - good dinner.

Blue hawaiian punch. I've been eating some super rich food so it almost tastes bitter. Kind of like a toothpast orange juice thing.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

regular old BUD tonight. 16 oz cans. taste or not, a beer is a beer and your wallet is lighter if you paid more. has always been my philosophy on alcohol. besides, you always want "her" to drink more than "you."

No. Just no. Craft beer is an artform, it should be an experience, savoured. You sir, are just drinking alcohol for the sake of drinking alcohol. You are the equivalent of a college kid knocking back Jägermeister or crap tequila. I wouldn't touch 'BUD' or any other tasteless piss water even if you paid me, because it's pointless. I don't get anything out of it other than one step towards inebriation. Why would I want to do that? I'd rather pay more (as any hand made artisan product tends towards) and know I'm getting a beautifully crafted product that I will savour and enjoy in its many complexities. Just like fine scotch, it should be savoured in the moment and not slung down my neck, because by doing that all you're doing is slapping the person who made it in the face.
